The short version
The free CartRevival plugin is GPL-2.0-or-later software you may use without limit, registration or payment. CartRevival PRO is a paid add-on licensed per site. The cartrevival.com service exists to issue and validate PRO licences, meter optional features, and deliver updates.
The software
- Both plugins are licensed under the GNU GPL v2 or later. Nothing in these terms restricts the rights that licence grants you.
- A PRO licence key entitles one production site to grants, updates and support. You can move it between sites at any time from the plugin's License tab or the customer portal.
- A lapsed or refunded licence never deletes or hides your data: only PRO's outbound sending and updates pause.
Purchases and refunds
- PRO is sold as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime licence. Prices are shown at checkout; payment is processed by Stripe.
- Every plan includes a 3-day money-back guarantee: email hello@cartrevival.com from your purchase address within 3 days (72 hours) of purchase for a full refund. For a monthly plan this covers the first payment; renewals can be cancelled at any time and stay active until the end of the period already paid. Purchases made before 5 October 2026 keep the 14-day guarantee that applied when they were bought.
- A refunded or charged-back purchase suspends its licence key.
The service
- We aim for the licensing API to be continuously available, and the plugin is built to tolerate our downtime: sending continues for seven days if we cannot be reached.
- Abuse of the API (key brute-forcing, resale of keys, circumvention of metering) may result in suspension of the keys involved.

What the plugin and this service collect and store is described in the Privacy Policy. Optional usage telemetry in the free plugin is strictly opt-in and described there and in the plugin's readme.
